Sales Co-Ordinator

Salary range:  To be confirmed, dependant on calibre of candidate

 

Overview:

 

Attewell Limited is looking to provide additional support and resource to the Sales Team to support the steady growth of new business. Attewell have budgeted to increase sales by a considerable percentage again next year, so need to employ an experienced sales person to help achieve these aggressive targets

 

 

1.JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

What are the key tasks or activities that need to be carried out to do this job?

 

  • Management of customers RFQs (Request for quotations) and bid packages

 

  • Download of any RFQ/ bid related data via data boxes/ online portals

 

  •  Respond to customer enquiries within a set period of time, to gather marketing data to enable Attewell to quote competitively in order to win business.

 

  • Summarise the RFQ/ bid request and regularly report back to the Sales Manager

 

  • Building of inter departmental relationships in order to gain the information required in order to update customers on status of their quotations

 

  • Writing reports/ queries in SAP to measure performance and customer statistics

 

  • Analyse, update and display relevant Measures of Performance data as required by the department and Management Team.

 

  • Follow up on relevant sales leads / opportunities as agreed by the sales team, to identify and develop new core business.

 

  • Update the company’s SAP system accurately with latest sales/marketing information.

 

  • Maintain and expand the already excellent long term customer client base. Also provide an exceptional service to all customers. Keeping updated with their relevant developments and changes

 

  • You may be required to cold call customers/ leads to introduce our business and establish if there is any opportunity for Attewell

 

  • You will be given certain accounts to manage order progression through production/ despatch to ensure timely delivery. This will involve updating customer via their order books on the status of their parts

 

  • Support other team members as and when required.

 

  • Carry out general office duties as required and requested by the Sales Supervisor/ Manager.

 

 

 

 

 

2.  JOB SKILLS

 

What are the key skills needed to carry out this job?

 

  • Minimum of 2 years Sales and Customer Service experience is essential
  • The individual must be able to work on their own and as part of a team
  • Maths and English to GCSE level C standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • Must be an effective communicator and be able to influence others
  • Able to work under tight timescales and be results driven
  • Willing to travel to others sites on occasion
  • Experience Knowledge of SAP would be preferred but not essential
  • Basic presentation skills.
  • Good organisation and communication skills.

 

 

 

WORKING HOURS: Monday – Thursday 08.15am – 05.00pm

                                       Friday 08.15am – 12.45pm

 

 37.5 HOUR WEEK

 ANNUAL HOLIDAY ENTITELEMENT: 23 DAYS

 DISCRETIONARY BONUS (3 TIMES YEARLY)

 SUBJECT TO A 3 MONTH PROBATION PERIOD
