History
The original four businesses comprising Shimtech were acquired from UK-listed Hampson Industries PLC in a transaction backed by international private equity group, Bridgepoint, in October 2011.
Through its specialist manufacturing and distribution operations, Shimtech has a proud operational heritage spanning over sixty
five years.
During this time, the group’s laminated materials, shim and gasket products have helped ensure the precision adjustment, sealing alignment and interfacing of countless engineered components and structures, for a variety of performance-critical applications, in a broad range of industries.
